I've tried all different types of settings (Original , 720p etc) and different frame rates (only 30 and 60 of course). Video quality is set to high (0-255). My resolution is 1920X1080. I've been recording in 10 min intervals with commentary (Using headset as mic). One thing I notice , Even though I set Action! to AVI it outputs Mp4. Not completely sure why. So after recording , I upload it manually to youtube and it only ends up scaling to 480p.

Please help me figure this out.

oh yea and if it makes a difference I am hooked to my monitor through HDMI

When you see a file e.g: Video.mp4 rename it by right clicking it then click rename and take out the mp4 bit type in avi and then click enter. Once you have done that it will warn you are changing the file type. Click yes and then your done.
