Quicktime and AVI Multiple Audio Tracks problem

Hi!
I'm trying to edit the audio of an Action! video in Pro Tools. I checked the setting "record microphone to separate track" so I can manipulate them separately.
Pro Tools requires Quicktime to work (to import the video). However, Quicktime plays the video as black, or, when I import into ProTools, says the codec is missing.
I've installed the LAV filters.
Another option (probably better) would be to get PowerDirector to recognize both the audio tracks, but it only recognizes the sound from the pc, not the microphone.
How do I get both audio tracks into PowerDirector? Or is there another video editing software that can recognize multiple audio tracks?
