Sound dropouts using AMD APP

Tue Mar 18, 2014 5:50 pm

Hi,

I'm Recording MP4 Original or 1080p with AMD APP! Every few seconds i have sound dropouts. Sometimes more, somtimes less.

No problems with .avi recording, only with AMD APP.

Any Ideas?

System:
FX 8350
7970GHz 14.2 driver
Win 8.1
Mic Rode NT2a and Headphones Beyerdynamic DT770Pro connected @ Audiointerface Steinberg UR22 with Yamaha Steinberg USB driver 44.1khz 2048 samples.

Solved the problem. Deactivated the second monitor (windows key + P). No more sound dropouts.

Using my audio interface UR22 soundcard which is connected with USB! (look first posting)

oh yea.. i missed that.

I suspect that it could cause troubles, given that USB audio is rather unstable.

but since you solved the problem with a monitor 'detach' it's more likely that it could be a DisplayPort / HDMI issue (which again is a sound-card / USB audio issue)
