AMD GPU acceleration and translation

I have a AMD Radeon HD 6870 graphics card but the AMD APP options for real-time and export do not appear at all. I've the latest stable and beta driver to no avail.
A friend has GCN-based card and he does have AMD APP available. So this leads me to believe that one of the following is true:
- Action! uses VCE, not AMD APP, but it's called (misleadingly and inappropriately) AMD APP for some reason;
- Action! uses VCE through AMD APP which is why it is called (misleadingly and inappropriately) AMD APP;
- Action! actually does support AMD APP (which means all cards 5xxx and newer should have this) but I am missing something.

Can anyone please clarify this?

Also, I would like to translate Action! into my native language. Who should I contact about this? I tried contacting Mirillis support via the contact form (maybe 1-2 weeks ago) but no one responded.

Thank you for your time.

Hmm, that's a good question, I'm be curious about this well. I have a 7970 and I don't have any problems, but I also have a 6850 in a different PC. I'm going to install Action on it tonight and I'll let you know what I find. I might suggest installing the trial of Bandicam, which truly does support AMD APP and not VCE

No it doesnt peachey since they dont support the hd 76xx and lower so it doesnt support the APP but the VCE... i dont understand what is so hard to understand, about the diference between app and the VCE they are diferent things... FFS...

app is supported by the versions up from the 54xx... and this softwares dont support the app but the VCE wich is only supported by the 7750 and UP....
