F9 not working in game mode

Hello,
I can't seem to get Action! to start recording in game mode. I have tried DX9 and DX11 games, Fullscreen and Windowed, running as admin and normally. AVI, MP4, and Intel Quick Sync MP4.
I also have a Logitech G19 keyboard and I have tried using it with it and with a normal keyboard.
One thing I have noticed, is that while the LCD on the G19 recognizes that a game started, and changes from the default red dot and the logo to the blue fps meter, it does not turn red when the F9 key is pressed. I have also noted that the DX version in the top right hand of the display constantly and rapidly changes from DX9 to DX11 while playing a DX11 game.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
