Game Record Uber Lag

When I try to record games(Namely Titanfall and Smite), my game runs perfectly fine, but when I watch the video at the end, it ends up being less than 1 frame per second, basically just a bunch of frozen screenshots for the duration of the video.
I have a HP ENVY m6 laptop with Windows 8.1, AMD A10-4600 APU with Raedon HD graphics, Quad core, 2.3 GHz, 6GB RAM, 750 GB hard drive.
If there is a way to assign recording and the game to certain cores, I haven't found it yet, but I assume that would help.
