Sorry if this has been posted before, however, I have searched through the last few pages and found only one post mentioning this last year.

The problem is, when recording I don't encounter any problems (sometimes the occasional stutter). However, when playing my recording back - whether this be exported to MP4 or in it's original recording format - the recording 'jitters' or lags in certain areas with audio sometimes cutting off and video jumping ahead a few seconds.

I have only had this problem happen once on a game before only to find that it's now happening on every game I play, even if the recording is only a few seconds long.

Are you recording with Intel Quick Sync?

I find the action player to be the thing that gives the illusion of lag and most of the recordings work fine in windows media player. I also find that closing ACTION sometimes helps the playback.

I'm not sure what that is exactly but I haven't come across it, so I don't think I am. A quick google says its something to do with Intel hardware - which I don't have any of. I'm AMD Most things. I've messed about with the settings of Action! a bit more and found out that if I record it in MP4 AMD APP (1080p) then it seems to work perfectly. Still curious as to why the AVI doesn't though.

What's the video bitrate?
