I've searched this entire forum and have done every solution posted to fix this. I can only view the videos I recorded with in Action itself, no other program will open it. I have installed K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 10.4, restarted PC, and still no fix. Before I tried K-Lite I installed ffdshow x32 and x64 with the proper settings as well as LAVFilters but those didn't work either. I've even uninstalled Action, Vegas, and Codecs, rebooted, and reinstalled with still no luck.

I recorded to AVI, original resolution, and 60fps using v1.18.0.0

Really need some help with this one, got some important recordings taken but I can't edit them so it's no good.
Other than that very nice program and flawless recording fps, barely any performance hit.


(I am able to export the videos using Action as MP4 files then import into Vegas but of course I lose much quality.)

Weird, I'm able to import my AVI files easily into Vegas. Could you upload an AVI files that is not working for you? I will try to import it into my Vegas.

Install K-lite Codec Pack and use default settings.

Mmm I used your video to install K-lite with all the custom settings mostly setting them to ffdshow and haali, should I just use the normal config to install it instead?

Download K-lite Mega Codec Pack 10.40 and install using LAV filters for all and same config below.
