Issue with Video Recording

Sorry for the cryptic title, but I really can't figure out a name for the problem I'm having. I'm actively using Action! for a few weeks now and recorded two Let's Play projects with it. One would be Hitman Absolution, the other is the fairly recently released Daylight. I haven't had any issues with the latter, but did run into some problems with Hitman now.

Problem: A few seconds after I start recording, there is some kind of "cut" in the video and then it stays still at one frame for several seconds while the audio just plays on. After that the video kicks in again. Please watch the linked examples below for better understanding.

Example 1
Example 2

Now I know that there is a pause funtion in Action! but I'm pretty sure that I didn't accidently triggered that since a) I'm playing with a controller and b) the audio recording doesn't stop. It happend two times out of 17 recording sessions and only started recently (Software ist up-to-date, I'm runing Windows 8).

Could anyone tell me how to avoid this issue? I'm kind of a neat freak and passionate about creating my videos, so I don't really like uploading flawed content like this and apart from this issue I'm really happy with Action! so far.

I suspect that Action! is stuck on video encoding while the audio is still encoded. Action! is trying to keep up with the audio to synchronize your picture with the sound which makes your video looks fast forward for a short period of time. I have no idea why this is happening. You should contact our support team via support@mirillis.com and provide them all the information.
