4k (UHD) video support

Greetings!

I used the Action! trial, and found it to be by far the best for my needs--great job folks!

However, before I purchased, I upgraded my monitors to 4k, so naturally I wanted to try capturing my game at 3840x2160. It worked well, but the combination of the following two facts is preventing me from using the capture:

* Action! gives me no output format for conversion that is near UHD resolution
* Action!s custom AVI format is not readable by any service (Youtube) or tool (Handbrake, ...) that I have tried

Is there a solution to this? If not, any of the following would work:

* Update Action! to export to a common format at 4k resolution
* Update your custom codec to something other services and tools can read
* Provide a spec for your custom format; I would be happy to write a converter

Thanks for your attention, and any assistance you can offer!

I don't do any UHD capturing with Action! just 1080p but Handbrake works for me... HOWEVER!!! some weird thing is that when I use Handbrake, it does NOT encode with the facecam!? Weird. When I play the video file back with a media player my facecam is there but when I encode it with Handbrake, it's not. Almost like my facecam is another video file that it's pulling from and overlaying in real time but Handbrake won't allow it or something?
Another program that I've been successful at using to convert these AVIs is VirtualDub. Works great and also kept my facecam.
Really weird that Handbrake shows the converted file with no facecam. But I can't figure out where the heck the other video file is for the facecam overlay!? Would be cool if I could edit it like make it bigger or smaller, change position... but anywho try VirtualDub see if that works for you. I'm running Windows 7 64bit.

Handbrake does not work for me, regardless the video size. I can select the video as a source, and when I try to convert, Handbrake just says "You must first scan a source." It seems it cannot read the file.

Note: I am using an AVI produced by Action!, because that is the only format that supports the larger resolution.

Have you converted an AVI from Action!? If so, how?

Okay, here's an update. This is not a terribly usable solution, but I was able to get my video into h.264.

* Capture five second 4k video with Action! saved as .AVI (55 MB size)
* Open .AVI with VirtualDub and "Save as AVI..." to get a usable format (5 GB size)
* Rip with Handbrake into .m4v (h.264) (1.5 MB size)

@Mirillis team, can you just update your exporter to support resolutions higher than HD? Your AVI codec obviously does a good job of compressing the data, but this extra step is simply untenable for longer videos.
