Hi, my problem is that I can't do anything with MA except recording audio. Every other function is grayed. I can't record, I can't make performence test, Stream, make screenshoots. The most valuable thing for me is obviously recording my screen ingame. But MA seem not to recognise that I launched the game or it asks me for turning on Windows Aero. I have no clue what is this.

Do you have Windows 7?

I have Vista.

Ok, well Vista is indeed supported, but I don't know anything about Vista itself. I know for sure you get the Aero in Windows 7.

Are there themes with Vista?

I activated Aero Windows and now I am able to record my activated screen (still not detecting games) but it is not recording anything and the size of file is always 256kb.

What's your system? Everything seem to be off. Are you trying to record in the root of the C: ? (I'm trying to figure out why it can't produce files bigger... hmm...)

What game are you trying to record? DirectX 9 and up?

Sidenote question: would you be willing to change OS to Window 7 or... 8?

I told you that my system is Vista with service pack 2. I can change my OS if this is going to help me with this issue. Yes I am recording on C. I have only one disc on my computer. Game for sure use DirectX10 or 11.

I know your os is Vista with service pack 2, you told me... I'm not debating that, why are you resaying it? I mearly asked if you would be willing to change os, and you answered.

I was asking about saving to the ROOT of the C: drive, you answered "yes I'm saving on the C"... but is it the root? If it's the root, try saving somewhere else!

Yes it is root which is obvious due the fact that I have only one disc on my computer, but why can this be a problem? Am I supposed to make new partition of disk now?

You're not supposed to save ANY files in the root drive, not that it's a written law per say. Try recording in a folder, on your C drive, somewhere.
