MAJOR PROBLEMS!

No offense to Mirillis. this recording software would be great, if it wasn't crap. ever since a few weeks after iv'e bought this thing iv'e been having major problems. a lot of these problems have been taken care of in past updates, but only to be replaced with even worse ones. here are the current problems. 1# minimizing or maximizing the window which i'm playing and recording a game in makes Action! stop recording. 2# OK, i'm recording. no problems so far. (10-25 minutes later) i'm done recording. so i press the button i use to start and stop recordings. the HUD is still red as if its still going. but the timer has stopped so it cant be recording. i press the button again every few seconds, nothing happens. i exit out of the game. and then try to go back into Action! to see if anything happened to my video. the app wont respond. i try to open it, but it wont open. i try to close it, but it wont close. i then go to my last resort and shut down my PC, then turn it back on. i open Action!, it opens up smoothly. the video I spent 20 minutes recording a few minutes ago is nothing but a corrupted video file now, unwatchable and unusable.

this is terrible for me because now i gotta go back and record that part of the game again. and i will not be posting first impressions and reactions on my YouTube channel. i don't want to be posting a lets play of a game iv'e already played. i didn't get the last update for Action!. it said a new update was available but it failed to download. has anyone been having the same problems as me? Mirillis, please fix this as soon as you can

This happens if u are using the games/apps mode in Action. If u alt-tab away from ur game while recording, it stops and saves the recorded footage.

This happens pretty often to me too. What format are u using? So far i've used Quick Sync MP4 to capture any randomness from my games. If my recording reaches 23-28 mins, usually it saves it but sometimes it freezes Action and i have no choice but to shut it down by force. And yes, the footage becomes useless. Unfortunately i don't have any idea what could fix this. Maybe it's method-related.

#1 This is normal. If the game resolution or recording mechanism (Aero/DirectX or OpenGL) changes the recording is stopped. You can use Screen Mode (middle one) to keep the recording continuously.
