windows Aero???

So trying this software out and cant use as it seems to be outdated?? (only on vista?)

I tried to record audio and games & app,
I get

Desktop recording is not available, because Windows Aero is disabled. Please turn Windows Aero on to enable desktop recording.

It also wont record audio,

how do I get this up and working?

If you want to record the desktop, you do indeed need the Aero theme *from Windows 7* (or 8). As far as having Aero on Vista, I got no idea. Vista is getting pretty old... Any chance you could update your operating system?

If you can't, you still can record with Action!, but in "game mode".

As far as getting no sound, be sure to configure your Audio Device, within Action!

If u're using Win7 like ur specs say, then open the control panel from ur start menu. Or if u want to cut it short, then right-click ur desktop and choose "personalize" or whatever it is called for u, like this:


It will take u to ur desktop themes window where u can find Aero themes too

Oh he HAS Windows 7!? Wow... by default the Aero theme is enabled... so I thought anyway.

Ya, it's MUCH simpler just to select it, like Claunator showed you.
