Action Won't Load or Open (please help!)

Hello,
I have recently download the trail version of Action, sadly it will not open. When i double click on it, it opens the loading screen (the black screen with the red PC monitor on it) but after about half a second instantly closes again. I have tried deleting it and re-installing it again, but nothing works. When i open Windows Task Manager, its says its running but on my screen nothing is there! Am I doing something wrong?
