Action! has stopped working!

Hello fellow reader,

So I wanted to try the Action! recorder and so I installed the trail version. I installed it with no problems. I went to open it but an error occured.

"Action! has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is
available"

I dont know what happened so I went to the interwebs to check for a solution, didnt find any that worked for me. So is there any solution? I have Windows 7 x64bit if that helps.

Can you explain how you should update a driver, because I went into my System Properties, then Device Manager, then to the display adapter and I updated it. I tried out Action! and still the same error. Did I do something wrong?

The best way is to use AMD auto detect tool. You can find it here: www.support.amd.com/en-us/download/auto-detect-tool

Okay, so I got the correct driver to be installed, I installed it. I tried to open Action! once again, and the same thing happened. When I installed the driver, a seperate program came with it, AMD Gaming Evolved and said my Driver hasnt updated. I dont know why it hasnt updated since I installed the driver..

i have the exact same problem however mine only began when i tried updating my Graphics card drivers and AMD auto detect install the wrong graphics card drivers and when i was forced to reset the drivers to the original ones since then i have not been able to launch action! it gives me the same error

I guess that the issue is related to faulty (?) drivers or something similar.
