Action! + LoL Livestream via Twitch

Tue Jun 24, 2014 10:38 pm

Hello,

I looked through the forums and could not find any post regarding my issue.
I streamed during the champ select just fine but it stopped recording once we went into the loading screen for the game League of Legends. Obviously these are two different programs. I tried to restart the stream but, when I hit F9, a large red border appears around the screen and it doesn't actually start to record. My mouse is able to travel to my second monitor, whereas it is usually limited by the LoL client, as if the red border is a new program it is semi-alt+tabbed to.
Now I can't even get it to stream live again. I just bought this program and I am hoping it will work efficiently before I inquire about a return. Any advice is appreciated.

By the time this post was accepted, I fixed the problem and a few others. My only remaining dilemma is that it ceases to stream when I am in loading screens and when I minimize. The loading screen thing I can work with if I have to, but does anyone know how to continue streaming when I minimize? (Full-screen games)

Thanks~

Have you tried using screen mode instead of game mode? Screen mode allows you to record all your screen activity including switching from game to desktop and back.

Seems like that does fix the minimizing issue, however it still stops when I do anything on my second monitor. And that does show my entire desktop and other programs which is somewhat of a bummer. Is there anything else I might try?

I don't know if I understood correctly but Action! is capable only to record active screen (blue HUD) if you switch your screen to another one it will stop recording.

Yes, that is correct, that is what I was referring to. That is unfortunate, then.
Thank you!
