I have a game that is running OpenGL, it was originally a Mod of Half-life, then got it's own, standalone game. I try to use detect game with Action! and it won't detect the game and where as it was originally a mod for half-life, I opened half-life and Mirillis was able to detect it. So how come Mirillis is able to detect some games and not others and if there is a way to fix it how?

Have you tried running your game first and then switch back to desktop to run Action?

I've tried opening the game then Action, I've tried opening Action then the game, even tried having action open, started the game then went to the desktop and messed with Action with the game running. It just doesn't want to detect it.

What's the game title exactly?

I'm having this same issue with bf4, it was working fine now it wont record at all

Did you switch your game mode to AMD Mantle in BF?

YES BUT I SWITCHED IT BACK EVEN UN INSTALLED AND RE INSTALLED MIRILLIS, sorry for the caps

Have you tried re-installing your game? Maybe there are some leftovers from the Mantle engine.
