Hey,
when I try to record in "Game Mode" HUD appears, but pressing record button doesn't start capturing, and sometimes leaves empty AVI files in recording directory.
This problem happens on every game, and even when i use Action! Remote Control.
I use Windows 7 x64, nVidia GeForce GTX 460 (with latest drivers) - whole Dxdiag log: http://pastebin.com/MnRvubEH

Not at all. I thought there was some registry issue but there is not. Have you tried re-installing Action?

Yes, I tried, but it didn't help.

I observed that Action! seems to try to record as main window sometimes shows timer for split second, stopping and as I said before sometimes leaving empty files empty files:

Maybe it will help locate the problem.

Do you record your videos into internal or external drive?

I record to internal drive only.

Seems like neither you or Support have found reason of my problem. I give up. Maybe in a few years, when I'll get a new PC everything will be fixed. Still, if you have any tips, post them. I'll be checking this topic frequently.

Have exact same issue.....very annoying to say the least.

i have same issue with action unfortunately developers can't fix this issues
