CUDA not available

Hi everybody,

I have a problem with exporting videos.
Up to now I have always been able to use my GPU/CUDA for encoding the videos I made, but when I was about to encode a video today I noticed Action was not using it anymore.
I've checked the export settings and saw that the hardware acceleration was "Not Available".

The video I recorded was in 1080p @ 60fps.
I have the newest drivers and updates installed.
However, I am using the Nvidia Beta drivers.

What could be the problem? It was working up until today, even with the beta drivers.

It's not a HUGE problem, it just takes ages to export videos now.

CUDA has been removed by Nvidia in their recent drivers.

Is there a website where I can read up on that?

Has anyone at Nvidia said if it's coming back?

Most importantly, is there an alternative to CUDA?

They twitted one of our users. I will try to find this tweet. As for your second question. Yes, there is an alternative: Intel Quick Sync or AMD APP. Soon Kepler.
