Noise/Hiss with Action!

Hello, I'll try to be as quickly as I can, since I'm late to work 
My name is Kiri, I'm using Action! for as long as I can remember, never had a problem with it... Always used the "record audio in separated tracks" and I was always happy with the result.
Yesterday my dog (aka demon) broke my headset, I brought a new one and since I'm using it, Action! audio is full of noise/hiss altough Audacity and other programs are recording audio with perfection.
My drivers are updated, I tried every setup possible on Action! and nothing is different than before the new headset (that, btw, is the same model that the old one).
