Playback videos are not in sync with Audio

Yes hello, I've been experiencing this issue for quite some time now and I have an idea of what is causing it but I am not having any luck and it's really frustrating. Title says all
Build:
Windows 7 64bit
FX-8350 CPU @ 4.5
MSI Nvidia 780TI @ 1.3
AMD Gaming Ram 16GB Quad channel
Things I've tried:
1.Ran directx test everything is 100% normal
2.Audio drivers are updated
3.Graphics card is updated
4.Windows NET framework and other misc updates are updated
5.Tried disabling antivirus, no dice
6.Tried reinstalling program directly from the mirilis site, no dice
7.Changed settings such as FPS record from 20-120 no difference
8.tried perfect video match mode and multi channel audio, nothing
9.Action! has current version
now heres my hunch, I used to own a standard 1080P 60hz asus monitor for awhile, in fact i had 3 for eyefinity but recently sold them to buy a new Nvidia Graphics card and G-Sync monitor at 144 hz I'm thinking mirilis does not support 144hz and that is the cause of the audio lag....
I did also dumb down my refresh frequency to 60hz and tried recording, playback vids still lag.. what is causing this?
I greatly appreciate your help
