So, after thinking that the program was handling fine after a successful test run in Portal 2, I've started to find that Portal 2 is about the only game the program DOES work with. I experience no frame drops when recording, it's not a performance issues, and my capture preferences haven't changed since recording on Portal 2.

But in every game I've tried since (Betrayer, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Borderlands 2, and XCOM: Enemy Unknown), Action will not capture the full recording. I do not have a filesize or duration cap, I am recording to MP4, in 720p, at 60 frames per second. What is the fix for this? Thank you.

Have you downloaded VLC media player recently? This may be the problem, at least it was for me.

I had the same problem where I would record gameplay and then look in the output folder and see that it wasn't there. If you have VLC player as your default media player, change it to something else. This fixed the problem for me but I can't help you if this doesn't fix it. Really hope it helps.

Did this issue started to occur recently? Which Action! version do you use?
