Battlefield 4 crashes when recording

Fri Nov 14, 2014 11:44 am

OS: Windows 8.1
Video Card: NVIDIA GTX570
Memory: 8 GB
Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080
Game Problem: battlefield 4
Video Type: AVI

Game simply crashes after 1-5 minutes of recording. Tried all recording modes, video sizes - original, 1080p, 720p - nothing of these made any difference. Also tried disabling origin in game, not helped.
I was recording earlier with fraps - had no such issues.
And whole footage before game crash etc is perfect, no desync or any kind or fps drops. I record movies into separate hdd (other than one where windows and game is installed).

Any ideas how to fix it?

Yes, error solved. :>
Minutes after I wrote this thread I restarted action! and noticed that there is update. Installed it and now it works flawelessly.

Btw I found other issue - for whathever reason Handbrake don't want Action! recordings, same with youtube if I try to upload raw avi footage. Installed FormatFactory, works well there.

YouTube does not support our video codec FICV, probably the Handbrake does not support it either.
