bitdefender trojant laucher

What langauge is that? Portuguese or French maybe?

Anyway, i think it's a false positive. Why would Mirillis suddenly include viruses in their products? Maybe the launcher acts similar to a virus, not sure.

Same here while downloading on steam:

Before anyone asking, it's german and the important fact is that it found a "virus" called "Gen:Variant.Symmi.14457".

I just updated Action! and bitdefender detected the launcher file as being a virus also. https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/92a4 ... /analysis/

It's a false positive alert. Action! installer has been checked and verified without positive results for viruses.

You can notice one alert but I honestly don't know what Ikarus even is...

It seems that this a false positive alert. Action_launcher.exe is used to start-up the application automatically if the application crash or will be closed unexpectedly. It's only used when Remote Action! is turned on so the user will not lose the computer control.

We will be contacting BitDefender staff about this alert.

Hi again. Our colleagues tell us the detection on action_launcher_exe was eliminated. You'll receive an e-mail via ticket xxxxxxxxxx

We are currently waiting for the full ticket e-mail with the explanation.
