New Mirillis Action! user here, I trialed the software for a few days and decided to buy it today, really like the ease of use and available features, however I have a few issues and questions.
I bought it for the purpose of recording gaming for editing and youtube videos. I haven't started youtubing yet but i play a lot of games with friends and I enjoy recording and editing and plan to get into it in the near future.
I have it set to AVI, 720p 30fps.
My first problem is that it's not recording my mic. It works if I just do a straight up audio record, but doesn't pick it up with video recording in game. I have multi-channel audio selected because I assumed that would let me edit it as its own track rather than overlayed with the game audio (I might be wrong). On this note, it also doesn't seem to be recording my friends on teamspeak, which was also something I was hoping I could edit separately.
The second problem is that I seem to loose all sound when I drop the clip into Movie Studio (my editing software, basically the same as Sony Vegas but cheaper). This seems to be "fixed" if I export it as mp4 but its still just the one channel and would prefer it to work in AVI.
Id really appreciate any advice. Like I said i'm a newbie at this. Just trying to find a good setup that works for me
