It will ignore my mic completely and only record the system sound and put it in a single audio track.

This used to work perfectly fine in 1.19, but in 1.20 and later it's bugged out.

Please take a look and try to fix it. It can record my mic if I disable the seperate tracks option, but then the sound won't be balanced at all.

Action is actually recording the mic audio into another track in the same video file. Have you tried playing the file in a video player that let's you select different audio tracks? I believe the player included with Action switches audio with the "A" key.

If you hear the mic audio and it seems fine then you'll have to extract the audio with an external program.

I see you're able to import .mp4 files into Premiere, are they the original files recorded by Action or have you re-encoded them to get that to work?

I ask this because I can't import .mp4 files recorded by Action unless I rename them to .m4v; Premiere Pro CC then recognizes both audio tracks and everything works fine.

Premiere Pro does not support additional audio tracks. You can export it using free software like VirtualDub to export it.

Try renaming the .mp4 file to .m4v and then import that, this works with Premiere Pro CC and gives both audio tracks.

I never saw the end of the clip, sorry :/ Anyway, thanks! This worked and is a lot easier than extracting the audio from a different software.

VirtualDub says that MP4 is not supported.
