Game Audio Desync (bought action 2 days ago)

Sat Dec 27, 2014 1:20 pm

Hello i am having audio desync when recording games, it is wierd... sometimes it works and sometimes it has desync lets say 1/20 it works well, so yeah... Its really frustating and i have bought it only 2 days ago... i need it working. I record 60fps 1080p, i have tried it on games like Battlefield 4 and chivalry and i get desync in both of them, if i use AVI format, gameplay skips frames no idea why... i havent tried just mp4 because i need to record in more than 720p, so i use mp4 nvec (or something like that) to get 1080p but i get audio desync.

My GPU its a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 i use windows 8.1 and i have an Intel CPU

I have also noticed that when recording in 1080 p 60fps the games work really smooth and good but every 2-3 minutes the game gets a bit of lag for like 1 second, not a big deal but maybe it will help you recognize the problem with the desync.

If it helps... I use Alesis USB 4 mixer plugged with USB into the PC and then i plug a studio microphone (T-Bone 1100) into the mixer.

I need some help ASAP, i need to get this fixed ! Regards

EDIT: o have found out that this problem wont occur when recording 720p 60FPS or 1080p at 50FPS... But it always happens when i record 1080p at 60FPS, i am starting to think i maight need a better graphic card? Tips and opinions are appreciated!

You don't need another graphics card... it's happening to a lot of us. Here's a thread about it:

http://forum.mirillis.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=35250

There are a few others on the forums too. I'll change mine to 50fps and see if it fixes for me. But at 1920 x 1080 at 60fps, I get that desync.

Even if I can fix the desync problem, I still have my microphone problem explained here:

Mine is a 3.5mm plug... not USB. So that doesn't fix that problem for the rest of us.

Audio desync has been going on for a few months, the issue and solution is on developer end. I've heard that reverting to version 1.73 fixes the problems but haven't found a legal download link for it to test. See what you can do about getting a refund, its pretty bs that you buy a software and it doesn't work the first day and you're expected to wait for a fix that hasn't come in months.

edit: found link, was searching wrong: http://download.mirillis.com/files/acti ... _setup.exe

I think it's silly that it's being discussed in so many threads and not a single solution yet other than to not use 1920 x 1080 at 60fps. I'm having a mic problem too and so far the only response has been that it must be TeamSpeaks fault, when that's not even running in the video.

It is so silly that I had to go and buy a different program while already owning action. There's one feature I miss, that is ctrl+del quick delete, so its a race between that software adding the feature and mirillis fixing their program until I get a proper recording experience.

Mirillis is trading their reputation for the ability to charge existing customers $5/month by continuing along this development path.
