Records broken with Intel Quick Sync

Thu Jan 08, 2015 8:57 pm

Hi! Since I have audio desync problems, I was trying recording with Intel Quick Sync to test. Problem is that at some point the recording stops (I know it for the size of the file, 2 hours of recording, 750 mb, last modified date 7 minutes later than creation date) but the red button of actions remains in the HUD and the webcam still active. When I stop it the record is the same, red button and webcam active but the timer stops, and Action doesn't respond, I have to kill the process.

I have the IQS latest drivers.

Webcam: Logitech C920
OS: Windows 7 64 bits
Video Card: ATI R9 270X
Current Driver version and date: Catalyst 2014.1120.2123.38423
Memory: 16 GB
Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080
Recording mode: Game/Application
Video Type: MP4
Video size: 1080p
Framerate: 30 fps

Thanks!

Action does not work with newer Intel drivers. I have let them know, but so far seems like not a priority for them to fix it. Right now you must uninstall those drivers and go back to much older ones, like the "3412" version from early last year. Please email their support to fix this.

Done, thanks. I'll try with the old drivers :)

Actually, AMD APP it's broken for me too. At random moments at some cinematics in the game, it crashes the PC and I have to reboot...
