Big FPS Drop

OS: Windows 7
Video Card: GTX 780 sli
Memory: 8 gb
Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080 144hz
Video Editor: Adobe Premier Pro
Game Problem: Metro Last Light, Far Cry 4, AC Unity, Vanishing Of Ethan Carter so far
Video Type: MP4 Nvidia Nvenc
Recording as an AVI is perfectly fine, almost no fps drop, but when I record with nvidia nvenc, I get massive drops down into the 15-30 fps range. All of my drivers are up to date from the looks of it. I wanted to try nvidia nvenc to save some harddrive space.
