Hello everybody, recently I've started using Action!
Few friends of mine suggested on it so I thought I should give it a try.

Now, this program is just fantastic.. I record and I can't feel any FPS drop really and the quality is perfect.. but there is some issue that I noticed since I started actually recording some footage with it.

The problem is kinda weird and it's the first time I see something like this, I've been using many recording programs tho.
Basically, I started recording on 'Game and applications' mode and chose 120FPS because my FPS barely go lower than 120.
In some games it won't go lower than 250 even...

So well, like I said I chose the option of 120 FPS since its the highest FPS option I have.
After I started recording, I took a look into the footage I recorded and I noticed that I'm missing some frames in the actual record that I recorded then I thought maybe it's just because the file itself is 120fps and my monitor can't handle it?
so I tried putting it in Sony Vegas pro 13 and it seems like I was right..

HOWEVER, in sony vegas it just wouldn't work as good as I wanted it too.. the speed was too fast and then suddenly slow.. it was wierd, I'm not sure I'm explaining it right but I saw that I'm not the only one to complain about it.

My question is, how can I fix it?
If I record on 30 FPS it works just perfect but then when I record I feel that my FPS drops and it kinda ruin my fun..

I have this same issue. No clue how to fix it.

For now I would just record in 60fps. You won't get the same smoothness if you use the "Smart Resample" fuction in Vegas but the fps in the video clip will look no different.

i know what you mean by feeling the lag at 30 fps but try going up to 60 and it should not feel laggy at all if that still feels a bit off which it should not crank it up to 61-70 i really recommend 60 as most editing software will be compatible with it and it should feel smooth and I say that as a gamer with a high end card where i get close to 1000 fps in some games and honestly find no difference in smoothness. Another major problem with recording at higher frame rat is file size and higher frame rate capture should only really be done if you are wanting to slow footage down.
