Action! has stopped working.

I'm sure this is the wrong place to post this, but I'm at a loss and becoming extremely frustrated. I've been using Action! for a while now, two or three months, and have had exactly no problems with it thus far. But just today, I was trying to record some footage from a game called Hammerwatch, and every time I hit f9 to start recording, Action! stops working without even an error message. It's only with this particular game too. I've not had this problem with this game before and have recorded footage from it plenty of times. Can anyone help me?

Did you recently installed any new drivers or Windows updates?

I believe I did, yeah. Your question leads me to assume that a windows update screwed something over for me. What advice do you have?
