I'm leaving Action and here's why.

I can't count how many times i'll record a video with mirillis action and then i'll stop the recording only to get a corrupted file that isn't editable. If you know how i can fix this then my all means tell me. Before you ask i have uninstalled and i have updated my mirillis action version. Thank you for getting rid of the "delete all" button but this file corruption is really irritating.

It seems that i figured out the problem on my own or at least it's my hypothesis. It seems that if i stop the recording (when i'm recording at 30fps) when it dips below 30fps then the missing frames in that second causes the file to be corrupt. i don't get that problem with avi as much but i can't edit the videos in avi. I'm trying to find a solution for that problem right now since i accidentally recorded a bunch of gameplay in avi. But i would like these issues to be fixed in future updates since they seem to be issues that can be solved. As far as I know Dxtory does not have this problem and if it means larger file sizes i'm more than happy to accommodate that if it were a setting. Ever since i've been doing that to make sure the fps was correct it's been working but i'd need to run more tests.

AVI container is best option to edit. Its open in all editor like Vegas, Power Director, AVS Editor, Corel Editor, Virtualdub, Avidemux...Premiere is some problematic really.

Your problem is DirectShow filters. Install K-LITE MEGA CODEC PACK using option 9. Its will make job.

It sounds like I am having the same problem as you. Video gets corrupt when I stop recording. I will try your method and stop when the fps is higher than the recording fps.
