No video when recording Games and Applications

Wed Mar 11, 2015 10:13 pm

I have used Mrillis Action in the past just fine, but it seems that now that I have taken a break from recording and come back to it, it doesn't seem to work anymore.
It records 'active screen' just fine, audio comes through well also. The problem is that when I go to record a game, with the 'Games and Application' recording mode, I get a black screen. The sound still functions fine. I can hear my voice as well as the game's sound just without video.

I am running a Windows 7, 64 bit, Nvidia GTX 650 Ti, Intel Core i5. Action is updated to 1.23.0.0. My graphics card is running on its latest driver.

any help or suggestions is appreciated!

I tried to attach my dxdiag report as a .txt and a .doc but neither seemed to work. i'll just post the main bit instead i guess... I also realized that this error persists for games like The Witcher 1 and 2 but not for Thief. I'll have to try other games but I don't see why it would work for a newer game like Thief but not a newer game like Witcher 2. All of them have worked in the past so i'm not sure what the exception is.

Re: No video when recording Games and Applications

Happens to me as well, and now I'm getting tired ... I returned upgrade to the new version and the problem persists ... When you open a file from MP4 to Sony vegas, no video appears, only the track play audio and microphone.

What is going on? .... Again I had to revert to version 1.19, which so far is the best, but it is very sad that after purchasing the commercial version can not upgrade the program because of these problems.

Thanks.
