Mirillis recording Lagging in Sony Vegas 11

I recorded a small game called 'I Saw Her There' a few days ago. All was going well, and I exported the file and everything was fine and smooth! Then, when I go to edit (Add my voice, webcam, etc) the recording lags and stutters. The characters would move, then freeze and suddenly be moving again but not where I left off. Is the problem caused by Mirillis or just Sony Vegas? Thank you!
