Action! fails to install Action_svc.exe

[izayus]

I purchased action (commercial) today and the install will not work. First install after a restart seems to finish prematurely, and then the program crashes on startup. After this I cannot delete either the Mirillis or subsequent Action folder or its contents of Action86.dll. When I try to install again I am faced with,

Hitting ignore brings me to the next error until it "installs". I'd really like to use this program so I'd like to get this fixed ASAP. I've looked through the forums, but all the immediate topics are for 1.17 versions. My version is 1.24.2. I'm installing and opening the program as the admin, and in admin mode. I'm really at a loss.

No because after a false install, it doesn't open. It just full on doesn't work. I've tentatively cleaned the registry of files belonging to the program, but I don't know if I got all of them. The process of installing goes, "Install? Yes. Ok. Open. Crash." After that it goes, "Install? Yes. ERROR. Ignore. ERROR. Ignore. ERROR. Ignore. ERROR. Ignore. Ok, installed. Open. Crash."
