I'm recording videos of half-life blue shift and the resulting files won't load in Action!, and are 256kb. What's the deal?

Memory: 8GB
Monitor Resolution: 1360x768
Video Editor: Windows Movie Maker
Game Problem: Half-Life: Blue Shift
Video Type: AVI
