Hi there,

I'm currently experiencing the problem, that action won't start properly. I'm getting the start overlay on my desktop, but nothing else. It is getting stuck there over and over again. I'm using the latest version of Action (1.24.3) on Windows 8.1. I also attached the windows event viewer entrees regarding this problem. I'd also like to add that I already remove Action from my computer, cleaned the registry and re-installed it without success.
Does anyone have a solution about this?

Check if your screen refresh rate is not set to 30Hz instead of 60Hz.

Monitor is set to 60Hz. The build in laptop monitor is set to 48Hz though.

Hmm.. could you post your dxdiag?

Sorry to hijack the thread, but does Action fail at 30Hz? Perhaps open for a second or two and then crash?

I attached the dxdiag.txt in a zip file.

I followed what you said but action just freexes for unlimited time on the mini startup gui

Please reply as i bought it yesterday it worked then but now no

It dosnt work for me to and it just freezes on startup untill force stop
i bought it yesterday and this is getting annoying as i was playing record

i followed how you hellped that other guy
