Audio Problems....

Hi,
I've been experiencing some issues with my recordings with Action! Every time i have a preview on my desktop my blue snowball my commentary echos. This does not happen on Audacity what i used to use because my microphone didn't work with Action! In order to fix my mic not working problem i had to tick in the sound control panel listen to this device and then it starts working. Is this the reason why my mic's echoing but i still want to record what goes through my earphones like Skype chat and game audio. This is really frustrating
