Bad Video Performance

Thu Apr 16, 2015 12:12 am

Hey Community,

I have a big Problem. I have a very bad Video Quality while recording. I record Arma 3 and have many pixels in my record. Here a harmless show of it. http://youtu.be/GKibFSgeu60

If i have action ingame like running, fire with enemys or something else its harder. Here my settings:

If I record with AVI I dont got this problem but I get a file size with 1GB per minute.

Can you help me? Why is the quality so bad?

I am sorry for my bad englisch. If you dont understand something ask me.

AVI is almost lossless compression which produce higher quality files but the con is larger files. MP4 files use h264 compression which is a loss compression and the video quality will be always worse than AVI.

I know this but, how can nvidia shadowplay with smaller files get a much better qualitiy then amd app in bigger files? And why is this quality so bad? Cause of bitrate?

Nvidia API offers a bit better image quality. You would get almost the same results as Shadowplay using MP4 NVENC in Action.
