Darksiders trigger screenshots problem

In Darksiders, if you use a controller, it disables any keyboard input while playing. I cannot even Alt+Tab or anything from the game.

I tested to record a video with Action!. Starting it before I start the game and it recorded the whole session just fine.
Is there another way to trigger a screenshot? Or do you guys know any workarounds?

My default screenshot key is multiply(*) on the NumPad.

You can use PrtScn in the game, end the game, open paint and then paste the clipbrd content. I tried setting PrtScn as my screenshot button for Action, it works as long as the game isn't started and then it stops.

p.s. this is the GOG version (no SteamClient-Overlay thingy).

Mouse input seems to be active while playing, but I cannot assign hotkeys for it in Action! to make screenshots in the settings menu. If I assign a keystroke like Num* to my mouse button, it doesn't work either since it is a keyboard input.

And yeah, in The Witcher3 it automatically detects input devices.

In order to make a screenshot, I have to release the controller, hit any key on the keyboard (the input scheme changes), hit the screenshot key, do something on the controller (the input scheme changes), fight on -.-

I found a workaround using a foot pedal
Now I can play using the controller and take screenshots or start recording with the pedal.
