Will Not Record Anymore

When I press my key to begin recording, NOTHING HAPPENS. It states that I am recording and puts a file in the folder, but the file ends up being corrupt and the Action UI become unusable (Grayed out). I don't know what to do. It might be because of the new time-shift feature. Pleas fix this asap.
