Action 106 error... AGAIN!

Since my purchase of this program some time ago now I have had nothing but issue after issue. I wonder if any of the actual developers who actually made this have any qualifications whatsoever.

After the first purchase and having serious issues with compatibility I have not used this for months. After a switch to another system I am now forced to use this farce. Popup after popup for the past week I was encouraged to updated by your program. Reluctantly I finally gave in and today decided to update. Straight away a 106 error!!

I have now, installed, re installed. Un installed. Wiped my reg entries as you say in various posts. Rebooted, re installed and nothing. It still tells me to install in the Program Files Dir. UAC is turned on... of course, I should do things like this to make this poxy program work. Maybe you would now like me to re install my entire OS, climb mount doom and slay a dragon whilst we are at it?

Having a very busy Youtube channel dedicated to software and games it is very important to get these issues fixed as at the moment you are my only option. However, with the experiences I have had with this joke of a program I think my next topic of vid will be a review of this product... I think you can tell by the tone of this post how that will be told.

With an error of this problem for so long... I would have thought a solution would have been found by now. Instead I see you still issue non working work arounds, no warnings when buying and little support except the closing of threads.

I look forward to your reply and solution...

Austin

Due to technical reasons Action! have to be installed into default directory. However recently we have discovered that some users configurations may cause a Critical Error 106 which is responsible for checking installation directory. In some casese If your Action! has been installed into Program Files x86 please move the Mirillis catalog to Program Files then.

Oh fantastic idea! Maybe I should just delete all my registry entries completely as they will be useless once I start moving things all over my PC.

You do have some coding or quals in the field of computing dont you? You do understand that doing things like this have a knock on effect down the line?

Maybe your version of fixes is the reason why your program has more bugs than the Entomologist Department at the Nation History Museum? can you justify the hard earned cash you have duped out of me for this shower of crappy code you have "sold" me?

I could understand if this is day 1 of this problem, but we are months down the line here. Its a shame such a good idea from whoever developed the idea of this program couldnt be realized due to the shocking people who actually made it.

I look forward to a more informative response as to how this could be solved. I wonder what fix is next.... maybe move my entire C: drive to my apple watch?

So I guess your customer feedback is as substandard as your product. With nothing more than a cut and paste reply, consisting of information a 12 year old would be reluctant to follow due to its lack of thought, results and effort.

The fact that you even cut and paste the "answer" speaks volumes about your product, service and actual programming knowledge.

Are you even planning on fixing this. I mean its not exactly a hard issue to solve and I would expect the same 12 year old who is reluctant to listen to your so called wisdom could have fixed it himself having access to the code.

I eagerly await your wise words as I look at the legal ramifications of being duped for faulty products.

I would not class that as a "Support Team", instead as a guy who gives the same cut and paste answer as the one you was so happy to cut and paste. In fact I would not be shocked if this said team was in fact you as it seems to be as helpful as your well thought out and thorough replies.

I see there is no stone unturned around here. Your "Support Team" are relentless in their goal to provide the highest standard of not only product but customer satisfaction.... lol.

You can keep my money in the hope you put it towards a real team, with real qualified personnel to take this so called product and make it into what its actually meant to be. I feel sorry for the people who have been duped into making this purchase and will be warning others of the same.

I have given not just you, but this "team" the chance to reply with what I would expect to be a professional response. If you do not have the know-how to fix your product then just be honest. I am sure there is plenty of people out there who would help you, some even for free.

If you would like some guidance on how to interact with the public/customers, how to build a program that works or even simple things like building sentences in replies, please do not hesitate to ask. I wont charge you for it, as I am not a professional at it... kind of like the way things should be run here. But my door is always open to those willing to learn.
