Action! shuts itself down just a second after starting up

As the title suggests, Action! just crashes immediately after I start it up.
I will see the startup screen
(with the version name and all) for a splitsecond, then it will just shut down.
On the task manager, the "Action! (32bit)".exe will disappear shortly after the sartup screen disappears and I will be left with an "Action! bin", an "Action! bin (32bit)", and "action_svc.exe (32bit)"

It worked fine until I rebooted the PC for my GPU drivers whilst Action! was running.
Reinstalling Action! does not work.

I have exactly the same problem, it was running fine last week.
In between I updated my GPU driver (AMD card) and now it does not work anymore.

I have/had the exact same problem, I had installed AMD drivers 15.7 . i uninstalled the drivers and then installed the old AMD 14.12 and action! worked perfectly.
Same symptoms as yourself.
Win 8.1 pro 8gb ram i5 760 AMD R9 270.2GB

It's because of the latest AMD Catalyst update 15.7

So the best driver I've ever had installed on my PC is the one making my Action! useless?... Well, it's just 2 more weeks until the new WIndows 10 patch comes out...

Yup, thats sounds about right. I guess we just have to wait patiently on them to fix this shit.

This happens on 15.7 and on 15.6.
Though even if i uninstall the drivers and use windows generic it still fails to launch. I did get it to launch initially when I registered it.
This is on a new Windows 10 x64 install (10162).
Also various combinations of UAC do not make a difference.

We have found what's the cause of this issue and we are working on a fix. It should be availabe soon.

I got mine to work, by device manager, display adapters, right click, update driver software, search automatically. Updated or well rollbacked to the one windows recommended to use.
Whereas going directly to amd website and downloading the amd driver download autodetect utility, they recommend the latest driver which didn't work with the latest action.
Will download the latest action fix when it releases.
