What settings are you guys using with your successes? I just tried to recording sessions and both of them failed. One stopped around the 30 minute marker, and the other failed after 18 minutes. Also, what are you specs in general?

Also, how long were you recording?

Edit Update: I'm still testing various things, the problems seem to occur when you record with the Active Desktop Region. Recording active screen seems to work fine. It might be worth looking into the Active Desktop Portion to see if there's something different about it.

Edit update again: Although even without a Active Desktop Portion, it still seems to crash without warning when pressing the button to stop it, and then immediately following up with a recording. I wish the program would just give a message or SOMETHING to help with this.

Action audio settings:
mp4 audio
allow multi-channel
record silence
microphone: always record
microphone settings: system default
volume: 100
record microphone to separate track: checked
system sounds: default device
audio balance is 60 system sounds and 40 microphone
aac system default

USB audio devices : SONY PS3 CECHYA-0086

I've had this for awhile...does it both in MP4 1080p and Nvidia nvenc mode.

Locks up when you stop recording and the capture is corrupt. Tried everything....no luck.

Very frustrated, and going back to Nvidia Shadow play till it gets sorted.

Windows 10 Pro
Intel I7-3770 @3.40ghs
16GB Ram
running SLI Nvidia GTX 660s.
Recording to SSDs.

Hey Guys,

I can confirm that the latest version of Action crashes when ending the recording process ONLY when my external USB device is connected (scarlett solo). Once I unplugged the device, it started working again. Here are my settings:-

I think I have kind of a similar problem.

I refer to what and for what ever reason it stops recording without which I notice because it appears to me that it is still receiving.
But the final video is then never complete, as always missing something.
I've tried so many settings but had no success.

Can anyone help me further, please?

I doubt Action is still the "Number 1 video recording software... this piece of crap has a new issue weekly and has caused countless hours of video to be corrupted/lost or got me to work extra hard to recover audio and so on... I'm uninstalling this piece of trash of software you call "number 1".

Oh did I mention forum posts do nothing? IF YOU HAVENT PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT I would stay very far from it.

Wow....can't believe the cause would be USB related.

That would make my computer a noisy box SINCE FRICKING EVERYTHING IS USB PLUG IN!!

Come on Action! Fix it!!

Its been a long time so far the only answer I've received was (We cant give you a refund because its been more than 30 days since you purchased the software...) so.. basically thanks for your money now bye...

How is the "Number 1 recording software in the world" number one IF IT DOESNT WORK.?????????????????????????????????????



Seriously what the hell I used to recommend this to other people... way to go Mirillis way to go...
