Startup Issue with Windows 8.1

I just bought a new computer, and I installed Action on it, but I can't run it at all.
I don't even get the main screen, and I get an error saying that Action has stopped working:

No idea what's causing this. I haven't even been able to put in my key.

OS: Windows 8.1
Processor: Intel Core i7 5th Gen, 2.4Ghz
Graphics Card: Nvidia Geforce 840M
RAM: 8GB
