Action Will Not Save Recordings

Okay, here's my issue; just got action and when ever I use it to record anything, games, active screen, screen region, it absolutely will not save ANYTHING, videos, audio or otherwise. I have action saved on a SSD and its set to save to a separate standard HDD. I tried out action originally when I had windows 7 and still had this issue before I upgraded to windows 10 (both 64 bit) so its not windows 10. Any help?

I should also mention that yesterday I did some troubleshooting and got it to give me some bit file as an AVI format but it only saves as a one second file with nothing it the video at all, all other formats give no files generated what so ever
