Multichannel audio capture questions

Hello guys,
Decided to use my mic to record my voice and found about multichannel recording. I think it's a great function, but I have some questions regarding to it. My app is in Russian so I hope my translations are correct.

1) There is a checkbox in audio settings saying "Record sound from mic to separate track". There is also a checkbox in video recording screen saying - "Use multichannel sound capture". Which one does what? I checked both boxes and it works fine. Just wanted to know the difference.

2) In audio settings there is an audio balance levels. Do they work in multichannel recording? Or both system and mic will be recorded at 100%. The latter is preferable.

3) I can adjust the volume of my mic in the settings. Is it related to Windows mic volume setting or bypasses it? For example if I set the volume of my mic in control panel to 50%, will action use 50% at 100?

4) Is there a function to record voice to a separate track like in Bandicam? This would be great.

6) How can I play recorded files with both audiochannels at the same time? VLC as I know can't do that, so is your player.

I know the last questions is not connected to Action! but i thought that you could know which software I should use. Thank you!

1) Record microphone into separate audio track will create additional audio track with your microphone. Multi-channel audio option will capture your video in 5.1 for example if you have such hardware.

2) This is only the balance between your microphone and system sounds volume.

4) Yes, record microphone into separate audio track.

6) Most of video players does not mix the audio tracks in real-time. In Action player you can switch between active audio track with "A" hotkey.
