Action! only recording in MP4 and 1080p resolution

I've been trying to capture my World of Warcraft gameplay, in 2560x1440, with or without using Mirillis' own codec, but everytime I capture I get a MP4 file, and in 1920x1080 resolution. If I select 720p recording settings, it still records in 1080p!
Am I... supposed to uninstall and reinstall? Always MP4, always 1080p, no matter what I change in the options... What to do, what to do?
