Action causes other programs to crash

Yes I am have been complaining the last few days about this as well
when I have action open, my Microsoft outlook and other things stop working as well; this was not happening before
I also like to use DivX player and it stutters or crashes when I play a video on there with action open
I have used DivX and Action together so many times in the last year with no problems
If I close Action, everything is fine but I need action open to record the Audio from the DivX player
this is ridiculous
does anyone know how to fix this ?
I have Windows 10 Enterprise 64 with Nvidia 980Ti High End Graphics Card
