Apparently, in the newer versions, you cannot record in AVI. Can someone assist me?

Just noticed this after recording over 300gigs of footage. Don't know when this was changed but I had my settings to record in AVI and now that option is greyed out and I can't select it. I don't stream so that isn't the issue, I don't know what is. Also noticed that when I brought my files into Sony Vegas it can no longer play my sound file whether it's separate from the video or not. It use to be an easy drag-n-drop into Vegas with no issue.

 Disregard the sound issue that is user error on my part in Vegas  As for the AVI being greyed out that is still an issue. Sorry for the false alarm on the sound though. . . . we good right? ;)
